KESTRELS - THE VIDEO
Shot over the past five years from 2015 to 2019
The nest, which is located in a small alcove in the side of a hotel in El Gouna, is used every year by kestrel pairs to incubate their eggs, and raise their young, from April to June.
The photographer's balcony is directly opposite the nest, offering uninterrupted views with a super zoom camera lens, without any disturbance to the kestrels.
As the kestrel juveniles fly the nest around the end of May, they land and bounce happily all over the photographer's roof, as they clumsily learn to control their magnificent wings.
The life of the kestrel families during this annual cycle of breeding and raising the young, is captured in the book with beautiful high quality images.
